Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account data: email address, name, hashed password, language and timezone preferences.

Content: databases, tables, rows, file uploads, and workspace membership data you create.

Security: two-factor authentication secrets (if enabled), JWT tokens, and signed session cookies.

Usage: product analytics via PostHog (optional), error reports via Sentry (PII scrubbed), and OpenTelemetry traces (opt-in only).

2. How We Use It

We use your data to operate the platform, authenticate your identity, send transactional emails, process payments via Stripe, run AI features through configured providers, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not sell personal data. We share data only as needed with: Stripe (payments), PostHog (analytics, can be disabled), Sentry (error tracking), AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, OpenRouter, or Ollama — only when configured and used), and your configured email and file storage providers.

4. Data Retention

Account data is kept while active, then deleted 3 days after account deletion. Row history: 180 days. Action logs: 61 days. Trashed items: 72 hours. Export files: 60 minutes. Snapshots: 360 days.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed. Tokens are invalidated on password change. We support 2FA, role-based access control, field and row-level permissions, enterprise SSO, and audit logging.

6. Self-Hosted

If you self-host basebuild, your organization controls all data. Analytics, error tracking, and AI integrations are disabled by default.

7. Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Email notification preferences are configurable. Account deletion includes a 3-day grace period.
